Welcome to Susmita's Home Made Food. We are committed to delivering fresh, high-quality, and authentic home-cooked meals straight to your doorstep. This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines how we handle the delivery of our food orders.

1. Delivery Area We currently deliver our freshly prepared meals and authentic sweets across Delhi NCR (Noida, Delhi, Gurugram). If your delivery address is outside our serviceable area, you will be notified at checkout or contacted by our team.

2. Order Processing & Preparation Time Because all our food is 100% homemade and prepared fresh to order without preservatives:

  • Daily Meals (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner): Orders require a minimum preparation time of 60-90 minutes to 2 days depend on order.

  • Specialty Sweets & Bulk Orders (e.g., Chhena Poda): As these are slow-baked and handcrafted, please place your order at least 1 day in advance.

  • Orders placed outside of our operating hours from 8AM to 7PM will be processed the next day.

3. Delivery Charges Delivery fees are calculated based on the distance from our kitchen to your location.

  • Standard delivery within a 5 km radius is ₹40.

  • Deliveries beyond this radius may incur an additional distance-based fee, which will be displayed clearly at checkout before you complete your payment.

  • Optional: We offer free delivery on orders above ₹3000.

4. Delivery Process

  • Once your food is prepared and dispatched, you will receive a confirmation message.

  • Please ensure that someone is available at the delivery address to receive the order. Since we deliver perishable food items, our delivery partners will attempt to contact you at the phone number provided (e.g., +91 8700310799).

  • If you are unreachable and the delivery partner cannot hand over the food, the order will be considered complete, and no refunds will be issued for failed deliveries due to customer unavailability.

5. Delays & Unforeseen Circumstances While we strive to deliver your hot meals exactly on time, delivery times are estimates. We are not liable for delays caused by severe weather conditions, heavy traffic, political disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. In the event of a significant delay, our team will keep you updated.
